Where I’ve Been...
Let’s see. I started out doing a graphic adaptation of C.J. Cherryh’s Gate of Ivrel. The publisher, in mid-project, got out of the fantasy publishing business.
CJ suggested I should take up writing novels. I did. I sold my very first project, Groundties, to Warner Books, which no longer exists as an independent company. I have the rights back.
I sold other novels to DAW Books. I have those electronic rights, and will be issuing those as e-books here, although you can still get printed books from DAW.
I am now one of the three founding partners of Closed Circle, with Lynn Abbey and C. J. Cherryh, two other writers with books to sell, in spite of the current chaos in the publishing scene.

My Universes.
I have three main ones.
There’s the ComNet universe, science fiction, which includes, in order, my first books: Groundties, Uplink, and Harmonies of the Net.
But that’s not all. There is now, brand new, never before published, the prequel, Netwalkers, and then brand-new versions of Groundties, Uplink, and Harmonies of the Net, all three under new copyright.
Then there’s the steam-age fantasy, Ring of Lightning, Ring of Intrigue, Ring of Destiny—and an entirely new book in the next series, Rings of Change, namely Rings of Change: Alizant. You can still get the first 3 in paperback from DAW, but the Rings of Change series will only be available here, from Closed Circle.
And, yes, a vampire story, Blood Red Moon, with a new take on the legend.
